I have closed on a place and will be moving in sometime in May, so YES to all you soap junkies, I will soon be able to soap!
Most people are unaware of how badly damaged areas of the NJ & NY shores still are. Debris is still everywhere and it is heart breaking to witness. My life has always revolved around the sea and not being able to even walk on the beach is hard. (A police state exists near the waters, it seems). The beach constantly evolves because land & sea seek a level of equilibrium. For a time the beach belongs to the land, but as the tide turns it is once again claimed by Mother Ocean. Sand carries the energy of this movement and the perpetual cycles of the tides and the seasons. And though the wheel has turned to spring, with so many great mounds of sand everywhere, I still await the balance of the glorious ocean with the sand at its shores.
Spring is the time when we begin to bring to life what was imagined, dreamed of & nurtured in the winter season. I've been feeling called to create new blends and eliminate some of the old. If a favorite was among those discontinued, remember, doing so clears the pathway and creates the space for us to shift and let go of the old.
Taking the first step is creating an intention...and for me that begins with a little time at my blending table.
