Recently, my husband and I attended a pastors' conference. It was a joy to be with fellow leaders and discuss different experiences and stories. But I felt a twinge of sadness, when after one couple shared their experience of a horrendous community disaster, and they had no response or concern when asked if their walk during their trial resulted in a deeper trust and intimacy with their Lord.
As our day progressed, we found ourselves in song and worship before the Lord. I've been lyric-sensitive to God's truth for a while now. Again, discouragement resulted when over and over we sang a song giving the impression the Holy Spirit was someplace else and we were welcoming Him there where we were. The lyrics went on to explain the longing in our hearts for His Glory. I found myself in deep prayer for those around me to be able to acknowledge the fact He was already there...for we were there.

FAITHFUL FATHER

The Father makes it clear that He is the beginning and the end. If we were able to find all the spoken and inspired words describing God in the Word of God, we still would not come close to describing the Father of heaven. It will take eternity for us to discover all the attributes of God. This is the primary reason why we should be so excited about going to the Father and spending eternity with Him. This book opens the door to knowing the Faithful Father as the Bride of Christ.
