Exactly When Did Islam Begin?
The term "Islam" means "radical intact." In modern Arabic, it means "obedient to God." The label Islam was not popularized until the Caliphate began to fight over whom was going to take over after their prophet Muhammad died in 632. Abu Bakr, probably the closest friend of Muhammad, was crowned the first caliph (form of government) and began using the term "Islam" has an expression of Muslim government, which is how it is used today. Muslim classically defines the religion, and Islam reflects the government - known by insiders as radical government.
The ideology of Islam has always been in place since Satan attempted to take over the government of the Kingdom of God; was forced (cast down) to this planet; and thus, formed his (Satan's) government on earth. Authentic Muslims believe that their lineage goes all the way back to Adam. Their ideologies can be found in the empires Cain developed before the flood; Babylon after the flood; and in civilizations and nations formed from and through the bloodline of Ishmael.
"Now Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac; but to the sons of his concubines, Abraham gave gifts while he was still living, and sent them away from his son Isaac eastward, to the land of the east" (Gen. 25:5-6).
Even though Abraham put distance between the descendants of Isaac and his elder brother Ishmael, there is biblical proof of the merging spirituality between the sons of Isaac (Jews) and the sons of Ishmael (Muslim). This started with Ishmael and Isaac, as they buried their father together as brothers.
"These are all the years of Abraham's life that he lived, one hundred and seventy-five years. Abraham breathed his last and died in a ripe old age, an old man and satisfied with life; and he was gathered to his people. Then his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, facing Mamre, the field which Abraham purchased from the sons of Heth; there Abraham was buried with Sarah his wife" (Gen. 25:7-10).
