In a world that has separated evil into subcategories, such as radical Muslims, religious extremists, peace-loving Muslims, radical Christianity, orthodox Jews, ISIS, universal faith, ISIL, Islam - Sunni and Shia - what is a person to believe? I will tell you what it is forcing the common culture of our day to believe and accept, that of embracing the Soft Side of Satan. All of what I will share with you in this writing project will be based on a war that has been going on between two brothers for thousands of years - that of Ishmael and Isaac.

 

As most historians know, one can always tell there is a war coming by recording the comments and threats made between two parties. Before I share some of these comments, please remember that people who claim to be liberal, people who use liberty to condemn, oftentimes use their freedom of speech NOT to certify their comments; but rather, to denigrate (belittle) and dismiss any opinion they don't agree with or understand. It's a way of diverting attention away from their ignorance and the Truth they perceive to be coming from their opponent. The reality of Biblical Truth surviving in a "free speech" environment is minimal, at least in debates.

 

The doctrines you are about to read in our monthly newsletter, EXCHANGED, as well as the news bits below, come directly from the Muslim "holy" book (the Qur'an), which all Muslim - peaceful or not - are required to live by. If you read these doctrines with a non-leftist mind, you will discover why the Muslims have such a hatred toward Christians and Jews. The Qur'an tells us: "not to make friendship with Jews and Christians" (5:51), "kill the disbelievers wherever we find them" (2:191), "murder them and treat them harshly" (9:123), "fight and slay the Pagans, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem" (9:5). The Qur'an demands that their followers fight the unbelievers, and promises "If there are twenty amongst you, you will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, you will vanquish a thousand of them" (8:65). - Institute for the Secularization of Islamic Society.

Is a divorce coming between the President of the United States and the State of Israel?

Once, it would have been almost preposterous even to ask such a question. Today, however, it feels like it's a matter of "when," not "if" Mr. Obama will formally abandon American support for the Jewish State. And the situation is rapidly going from bad to worse.

As I traveled through the U.S. in January and February on The Third Target book tour speaking to Christian audiences and meeting with Evangelical leaders, I found many who are becoming deeply concerned that an historic and disastrous break is coming. Speaking at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention recently, I raised this question: "What if America is not simply entering a season of strained relations with Israel, but we are heading towards total American abandonment of the Jewish State?"  Source: Joel Rosenberg  

As background, while Michelle Obama was promoting her hashtag campaign to #bringbackourgirls after Boko Haram's mass kidnapping, the Obama administration was working behind the scenes to completely undermine Nigeria's efforts to combat the terrorists.  Simpson tells us, "Obama refused to sell Nigeria arms and supplies critical to the fight, and stepped in to block other Western allies from doing so. The administration also denied Nigeria intelligence on Boko Haram from drones operating in the area. While Boko Haram was kidnapping school girls, the U.S. cut petroleum purchases from Nigeria to zero, plunging the nation's economy into turmoil and raising concerns about its ability to fund its battle against the terrorists. Christians won't usually come out and say that they think all Muslims are terrorists. But many do assume that the majority of Muslims support terrorism, albeit quietly. Much has been written about how Islam was established "by the sword," or how Muslims engaging in terrorist activity are simply obeying what the Qur'an tells them to do. It is certainly easy to find Muslims using the Qur'an to justify violence. Just one day before the Israeli general election, Binyamin Netanyahu stood in an East Jerusalem settlement and said in a televised interview that he would never agree to a Palestinian state if re-elected and would not halt settlement construction (Report, 17 March). The next day, he and his party were re-elected to power with a decisive majority, giving a mandate to his pre-election commitments - commitments which fly in the face of any "peace process", freedom and justice for Palestinians, and international law. YEMEN: Overnight, Saudi forces began airstrikes against Houthi rebel positions in Yemen. The Iran-backed rebels have in recent weeks driven U.S. special forces from Yemen, along with the country's U.S.-backed head of state-ending what had been a successful counter-terrorism operation in this part of the world and setting the state for a Sunni-Shiite proxy war between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Meanwhile, U.S. fighters launched airstrikes on Islamic State positions in Tikrit, putting the United States in the contorted position of siding with Iran-backed Shiite militias in Iraq while siding with Saudi forces against Iran in Yemen. In parts of Ukraine taken over by separatist, pro-Russian rebels, persecution continues to escalate against anyone who does not belong to the Russian Orthodox Church.

Rebel soldiers in Donetsk have ransacked or taken over Jehovah's Witness halls, Baptist churches, and Church of Christ buildings, according to Al Jazeera America. It's all part of a conflict that has merged religious and national identities in the rebels' bid to take over southeastern Ukraine. Rebels say the land is Russian Orthodox. One battalion of separatists even calls itself the Russian Orthodox Army. Kara Tippetts fought the fight and finished the race. Tippetts, the pastor's wife who blogged about her battle with terminal cancer, died Sunday in Colorado Springs, Colo. She was 38.

Indiana's governor doesn't seem concerned that a Religious Freedom Restoration Act might be offensive to some parties. 

 

Gov. Mike Pence signed the bill March 26, making Indiana the 20th state to pass the measure, which is similar to the federal law, often referred to as RFRA.  Micah Clark of the American Family Association of Indiana says the debate revealed "the true hostility" toward religious liberty in the U.S.  "Because the opposition against this bill, and the hatred against people who support it, is simply off the charts," Clark tells OneNewsNow, accusing opponents of using scare tactics about a bill that President Bill Clinton signed into law at the federal level.  Source: One News Now
