THE FINALITY OF BABYLON

"Then a strong angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, 'So will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down with violence, and will not be found any longer. And the sound of harpists and musicians and flute-players and trumpeters will not be heard in you any longer; and no craftsman of any craft will be found in you any longer; and the sound of a mill will not be heard in you any longer; and the light of a lamp will not shine in you any longer; and the voice of the bridegroom and bride will not be heard in you any longer; for your merchants were the great men of the earth, because all the nations were deceived by your sorcery. And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints and of all who have been slain on the earth'" (Rev 18:21-24).

The key here is all the nations were deceived by the sorcery of this system. Sorcery, even from the human Hebrew dictionary, means spell from a witch. But from God's perspective, it means much more. Spell casting is a curse placed upon an individual without their consent. Satan was cursed the moment he fell from Heaven, and he passed that curse on to willing followers by using a system of wealth and prospering - that of the great Babylon (world economics). This is why I step back from anyone I see or hear using the post-modern prosperity doctrines to increase in wealth while here on earth. While this system is collecting credit for the blood of prophets and of saints, these so-called "Christian Universalists" who believe in profiting from the prosperity doctrines of the devil are becoming richer, filling their churches (areas) with thousands of followers adhering to the same deception. Such deception - all ending in a pile of ashes!            

This system, with the guilt of horrid falsehood, deception, sorcery, and treason against the Lord Jesus, falls. By the way, Satan will forge His name and place it on her gates, and will be publically humiliated. A funny thing about prosperity doctrines; they only work in a prosperous culture. One shout from God through Christ, or an angel, puts an end to all who dare to live from her lies.

Take note of this: God has always had a remnant and always will have a righteous remnant here on earth until the consummation of all things. For a season, the Beast yields power to the great whore; but he becomes restless under her manipulation and restraint, and gets rubbed raw under her oppressive sway.
