JHUStudyJHU Research Study on Intercountry Adoption Seeks Participants

Sika Koudou, a doctoral student at Hopkins University, is seeking families to participate in dissertation research focusing on international adoption. The purpose of the study is to explore the process of family formation among Americans who choose to adopt children from other countries, and particularly how this process is shaped by the racial, ethnic, and cultural dynamics of US society both before and after adoption. My goal is to conduct a study that will reveal new insights that may be helpful to adoption organizations in educating, counseling, training, and providing support to adoptive parents. The study is geared to learning from parents who have already adopted  Participant privacy will be maintained throughout the study. For additional information, contact Sika Koudou at skoudou1@jhu.edu.
