Korea Homeland Journey Homeland Tour to Korea
Korea Homeland Journey (KHJ) sponsors an amazing trip for Korean adoptive families to explore adoption, culture and modern day Korea. Our next trip will be June 24 - July 7, 2013. Korea Homeland Journey will provide flights, hotels, meals and transportation in Korea. KHJ will also set-up meetings with adoption agencies and foster families. A Korean tour guide will lead all touring and will act as a translator. Space is limited! Visit the Korea Homeland Journey website for more information. 5th Annual Multi-APA Collective Toy Drive Dec 6 in DC
Date & Time: Thursday December 6, 2012, 6 - 9 PM
Location: RocBar, 1426 L Street NW, Washington, DC
Over 300 Asian American children from under privileged families in the DC area will not be getting holiday gifts for Christmas. The Multi-APA collective of DC APA organizations and NAAAP-DC are working to collect the largest number of toys to this cause. On December 13th, The Mayor's Office of Asian Pacific Islander Affairs will be distributing those collected toys to those families.
Please bring an unwrapped toy or minimum $10 donation and take in the fun and networking spirit of the holidays.
