Food, security, the quest for knowledge and overall quality of life are important aspects of what Hayward has to offer. Here are a few highlights:
FOOD: We have the BEST food in Hayward because of our ethnic diversity. For the Hayward Restaurant Guide, CLICK HERE.
SECURITY: Our friends throughout the City who are members of Hayward Neighborhood Alert (HNA) give of their time and resources to watch out for each other. Attend the next HNA meeting at Southland Mall's Community Room on Wednesday, March 27th at 7:00 p.m.
QUEST FOR KNOWLEDGE: "The Pioneer" of Cal State University East Bay published a story about Hayward's revitalization. For other stories, CLICK HERE and HERE. (What are your thoughts? All three stories reference Hayward schools and were published within a few days of each other.)
QUALITY OF LIFE: Putting aside the unintended consequences of killing the freeway bypass, for the last few decades, Hayward has been inundated with traffic and pollution probably moreso than if we had allowed the freeway to be built. The Loop is here!
