Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus came and told his disciples, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,[a] baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

We held our Iron Sharpens Iron event last weekend in Phoenix. With over 500 attendees Bethany Bible Church was filled with men and the Holy Spirit! This is the stuff I live for. We hope it was a blessing for those of you who attended.

Pictures of the event can be found on our Facebook page (click here). Would you take a second to "Like" us as well?

Want to keep the momentum going? Then be sure to attend our FREE workshop "Twelve Characteristics of a Godly Life" December 7 at Arizona Community Church. Click here to register.

We are proud to announce our partnership with Covenant Eye and are pleased to have Luke Gilkerson write a guest blog on their behalf.

Have a great November!

4 Proverbs About Accountability for Disciple-Makers

by Luke Gilkerson

Mentorship in the church is about making disciples, about helping others move from an old life of sin to a new life of Christlikeness. In the midst of this messy work, we need to hold disciples accountable, hearing their confessions and praying with them so they can be healed (James 5:16).

By Quentin McCall

Have you ever been caught in a cycle of hurt?  It's as if your emotions are running rampant and you have no control over your thoughts from one moment to the next.   You wake up in the morning ready to start a new day and within 10 minutes your mind starts racing and it seems to set the pace for your entire day.  How do you get past this?

When Our Work's in Vain and We Feel Forsaken
by Sincerely Christian

My Tuesday morning discussion group, who's been making their way through the epic prophecy attributed to Isaiah (the first, second, etc.), has arrived at those passages in which God is announcing the end of that long Exile, which had far but extended the people's patience, and even the seeming merit of their deserved punishment.
