Help join the cause by donating needed items to go down with summer missions teams. We are currently collecting:
  • UPS power supply
  • Vitamins (including iron supplements)
  • Towels
  • Sheets (twin)
  • Boys and girls clothes (ages 4+, modest clothing, gently used, no winter clothes, not too wide or big)
  • New underwear (mostly need boys and young men - boxer briefs preferred in young men sizes)
  • Bras (all sizes, thinner materials due to the warm climate)
  • Boys athletic socks and dress socks
  • Musical instruments such as guitars and keyboards
  • Backpacks for kids
  • Scientific calculators (can handle geometric functions)
  • French books, songs, CDs/DVDs (for all ages)
  • Educational toys (wooden or toys made of durable materials preferred)

Cooking it up with Saintanise

Orphanage Director, Emmanuel Romain, shared with us:

We couldn't imagine that the young adults would be so pleased to be in a cooking class when my wife decided to start it at the beginning of May. I was focused on the girls to be in this class but the boys quickly became jealous and they joined the class in June. They have had a chance to prepare seven recipes and hope to be able to do many more!
 
Below are some of the dishes they have made. 

 Meet Isabella!

My name is Isabella Clément. I have one brother and one sister, when I was at home the person who took charge of my lesson, he used to strike me in my head when I did not know my lesson and I also suffered of hunger.

I love the orphanage because I get a father and a mother who send me to school and give me food.
