Don't Miss "Spelling Bee" This Weekend
The "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" is a hilarious musical comedy centered on a fictional spelling bee. Six quirky adolescents compete in the spelling bee, run by three equally-quirky grown-ups. An unusual aspect of the show is that four real audience members are invited on stage to compete in the spelling bee alongside the six young characters.
This will be the last production of the year, featuring Jordann Tiras, Nate Silverblatt, Hannah Kass, Matthew Minchen, Mikayla Smolensky, Matthew Hall, Claire Gottsegen, David Enav, Amanda Atzil and Andrew Goldfarb.
Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, April 28 at 2:30 p.m.
Monday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m.

Run for the Rose Raises $6,000 for Cancer Research
Thanks to the EWS community for your incredible support at the Run for the Rose this year to honor Amelia Kornfeld. With your amazing help, the team had more than 140 members and raised $6,000 for brain cancer research at MD Anderson and pediatric initiatives at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. "My mom's unwavering smile and strength was a result of the unshakable love, warmth, and spirit of our wonderful community, as displayed by your dedication to this important cause," said Seth Kornfeld. "Your support is a beautiful tribute to my mom and the many others who are battling the horrific disease and searching for a cure. We truly appreciate your friendship and generosity. We look forward to your participation and support with the EWS and Friends Remember Amelia team at the 2014 Run for the Rose."
