Dear EWS Community, Our community is grief-stricken by the sudden loss of one of our parents. Shari Epstein, mother of our 8th grade student Anna, was tragically killed this morning after being struck by a car. This afternoon, Jennifer White and Char Hochschild talked to the 8th grade class, along with a grief counselor to provide additional support. We will continue to provide support to EWS students in the coming days as they process this tragic loss. Our hearts go out to the Epstein family. Funeral services are scheduled at Brith Shalom for this Sunday, October 28, at 4 p.m. |
