Common Core State Standard (CCSS) - Parent Education Night

TONIGHT at 7:00 MPR:

Come join us to find out about this huge shift in education. We will describe how these standards came to be and detail what this means for you and your child.

There will be a PTA/PTO joint meeting at 6:00. This is a great opportunity to become involved and find out more about how parents support Parkmead.

Keyspot will offer free childcare for K-5 age students from 6:00-8:00. Thank you PERC!

ART/MUSIC/PE starts next week.

Because of your support of WCEF every student at Parkmead is taught art, music, and PE by specialists once a week for 27 weeks. While your child is in art, music and PE our teachers are collaborating together and with Alison Gomez our instructional coach on best practices.

TRAFFIC REMINDERS:

  • Please drive slowly through the neighborhood streets
  • Please park legally when parking on campus and in the neighborhood
  • Our traffic process averages 15 minutes. Please be patient

Remember that there is no supervision on the playground before 7:55 and after 2:25. Please drop off no earlier than 7:55. Thank you for your cooperation.
