Being promoted to a supervisor is an exciting and challenging opportunity. This webinar will address key supervisory roles and strategies, how to establish a leadership presence, strategies for effectively communicating with and motivating workers, and responding to common challenges new supervisors face. Tips for successfully navigating the transition from co-worker to supervisor and how to supervise more experienced employees will also be presented. It is designed for new supervisors or those who would like to brush up on the core strategies supervisors need to master.

Managing Performance Expectations to Promote Accountability

Holding employees accountable can be a very challenging and uncomfortable experience for many supervisors.  The keys to success are having measurable, objective performance expectations; strategies to communicate feedback and minimize defensiveness; and techniques to facilitate problem solving and motivation.  This program will guide participants through a process for building these accountability tools and strategies to improve employee performance.
