Governor Cuomo Announces Statewide Partnership to Improve Access to Legal Services for Vulnerable New Yorkers

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo recently announced a partnership between the State Office for the Aging, the State Office of Court Administration and the New York State Bar Association to find new ways to better provide affordable legal services to senior citizens and New Yorkers with disabilities. In September, the Statewide Partnership to Improve Access to Legal Services hosted a webinar featuring Greg Olsen, New York State Office for the Aging Acting Director; Honorable A. Gail Prudenti, Chief Administrative Judge of the New York State Office of Court Administration; and Seymour W. James, Jr., Esq, President of the New York State Bar Association. Public Forums on the Olmstead Act Sept. 28
