Assisting students and parents throughout Louisiana with financial aid applications, particularly the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) furthers Lela's mission to make college more accessible and affordable. The Lela team makes presentations and leads workshops at schools, libraries, college and career fairs and takes any opportunity to spread the word.

Students visiting Lela's booth at FAFSA events might just win an AskLela t-shirt. Pictured here is Lela's Kayla Thomas, who authored this inspirational quote featured on the back of the shirts: "Have courage to make your dreams a reality. We all arrive at different times and it's never too late to begin your journey." Click the photo for a closer view.
