Voice of Business: Be Heard
Update: Official Plan Amendment No. 10
Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate in the the Public Affairs' Committee survey of members regarding the proposed Official Plan Amendment No. 10 in Dysart et al (Harcourt Township). There were 30 members of the Chamber who participated in the survey.
The top-level results of the survey were communicated by Chamber Manager Rosemarie Jung to the members of the Dysart et al Council on March 21, 2014. Council then voted on the proposal on March 24, and ultimately decided to turn down the amendment.
The Chamber will continue to monitor this issue, as the company in question (Armatec) does have the right to appeal Council's decision to the Ontario Municipal Board.
