Why is golf fun for you? You get to meet new people and it's a very hard sport.
What is your favorite Core Value and why? Sportsmanship because it 3 core values in one (Honesty, Responsibility and Courtesy).
If you could play 18 holes with any two professional golfers who would you play with? Rickie Fowler and Jordon Spieth
What golf club is your favorite and why? 5 iron because it's my middle iron and I'm confident with it.

Courtney Cervellin & Patricia Sweeney will attended "The First Tee Training Program" at Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy (Hank Haney IJGA) on Hilton Head Island, S.C. In 2010, The First Tee and Hank Haney IJGA formed a partnership to further promote youth development through the game of golf. Participants in the academy receive instruction on all aspects of the game from Hank Haney IJGA instructors.
Courtney is a 15 year old freshman at Franklin High School in Elk Grove. She is going into her sixth year as an activate participant in The First Tee. Courtney is proud to volunteer with the chapters California Eagles Special Olympics program , golf expo and various other fundraising events. She has also become part of the Junior Life Skills Coaching Committee. She's earned the MVP title of her high school team as a freshman as well as 1st team All-League for the Delta League. She maintains a 3.5 GPA.
Patricia is a freshman at St. Francis High School in Sacramento, . She became interested in golf at the age of seven, after being in The Will Robins' summer camp at Empire Ranch GC, in Folsom. Patricia subsequently joined Will Robins' year-round First Tee program and four years later chose to join The First Tee of Greater Sacramento Tour, a program she thoroughly enjoys since it continues to challenge her. She was awarded The First Tee Core Value Award in 2014 for her outstanding use of the core values. She made her high school golf team and all Delta League in 2015. She is currently on the Greater Excellence Honor Roll at school. She volunteers at the California Eagles. She has also played the piano since she was five years old and enjoys all types of music.
Olivia Alcoran was selected to the 2016 The First Tee Par-3, in Richmond, VA at The Kanawha Club. This event introduces participants to a competitive golf environment by simulating that experience through the stroke play and territory cup events. Participants will develop an understanding of different rules, scenarios and etiquette through instruction lead by a USGA rules official and through implementation during tournament play.
Olivia is 14 years old and is a freshman at St. Francis High School. She has been a member of The First Tee of Greater Sacramento since 2011 and part of the Junior Tour since 2013. Olivia was a two time Parochial Athletic League co-medalist and awarded MVP on her middle school golf team. On her high school team, she earned the Rookie of the Year award and Delta League All-League honors. Outside of golf, she enjoys visual arts, playing piano, guitar, and singing in her church choir. Olivia was awarded Lifetime Membership in the California Junior Scholarship Federation and currently maintains a 4.17 GPA. Through The First Tee, CJSF, and other organizations she was given volunteer opportunities such as helping with fundraisers and food drives.

Our Girls Golf Clinics are a great way for young ladies ages 9 to 17 to meet new friends, become familiar with ways to get involved with the game and The First Tee of Greater Sacramento, while learning in an environment that is friendly, fun and educational. Much of the clinics will be geared toward the "Three Pillars" of the junior golf programs at our city golf courses; golf skills, athletic movements and The First Tee Nine Core Values™.
All clinics are held from 1:00pm -2:00pm
