Alumni of The First Tee of Greater Sacramento

Sara Scarlett alumna of The First Tee of Greater Sacramento Chapter attended several national events such as The First Tee Coca Cola America's Future Forum in 2012, The 2013 First Tee Outstanding Participant Summit, and the 2011 Nature Valley First Tee Open. She was also a member of The First Tee Scholar class of 2013 and a recipient of the 2013 The First Tee of Greater Sacramento Community First Award.
Sara second from right at the 2012 The First Tee Coca Cola America's Future Forum

Sara is currently junior at the University of Texas, and we just received this update from her.

"I still love Austin- I have made some great friends and am taking really interesting classes for my major, public relations.
For internships, I actually reached out to Kelly Martin, at The First Tee home office to get a name at Coca Cola because ever since getting the scholarship from them through The First Tee I have been extremely interested in the company. She was very helpful and I ended up having two phone interviews for an internship this upcoming summer. I was informed about a month ago that I did get the internship. This summer I will be in Atlanta interning for the company. I am so excited to open this new chapter of new life and spend the summer in a new part of the United States. It is crazy how fast time flies, but I know this opportunity wouldn't have been possible without both of you and The First Tee. Just a small little thank you for all you have done for me and the thousands of other current and past participants of the Sacramento chapter."
Sara is an amazing young lady and we are proud to have her as one of the Alumni of The First Tee of Greater Sacramento.
