The First Tee of Greater Sacramento
Nature Valley First Tee Open
Who watched the Nature Valley First Tee Open this week?  Well over 110 juniors, parents and coaches from The First Tee of Greater Sacramento did.  We loaded the buses Saturday thanks to the sponsorship of Chevron and the Monterey Peninsula Foundation. Everybody had a great time getting to watch not only the Champions Players, but their fellow participants from The First Tee of Greater Sacramento.

The First Tee of Greater Sacramento had 6 juniors selected to play in the Nature Valley First Tee Open, John Burke, Louie Euer, Jeffrey Inouye-Wong, Chad Kubes, Tarah Kubes and Virgie Velazquez. The Nature Valley First Tee Open at Pebble Beach is a unique Champions Tour event that pair81 junior golfers with 81 professionals.   Read more.......

How old were you when you started to play golf?

I started playing golf my freshman year in 2011 when I was 14.

What is your part about playing golf?

I like the feeling of swinging the club and hitting the ball.

Who is your favorite golfer?

My favorite golfer is Tiger Woods

What is your favorite Core Value?

My favorite core value is confidence because in golf I have gained confidence.

If you could play golf with any three people, who would you play with and why?

I would play golf with Tiger Woods, that's it.

De'Jay has made huge improvements in his golf game, and more importantly in his confidence.  He is a hard worker, who enjoys helping others.  He is a pleasure to have in the program.
