A Huge "Thank You" to Playa Animal Rescue's Volunteers! 

 

Thanks to people like Christine Loew (left with Bernie), the new PAR shelter is off to a successful first year!  PAR is blessed to have wonderful volunteer support and Christine is an exceptional role model.  Christine has rescued many dogs from the streets of Playa del Carmen...in her words, "My strong sense of justice and love for animals just require that I help an injured or sick animal."  Her commitment to this great cause and her undaunted dedication are an inspiration to all of us.  Christine regularly visits the PAR shelter to help walk dogs, play with them, and give tons of affection.  In addition to the dogs she has adopted or rescued, she has also fostered dogs for PAR.  Thank you, Christine...we're lucky to have you!

Rescue Update
Fox and Her New Pups Are Now Safe!
 
This beautiful mama and her precious pups were found abandoned on the busy streets of Playa del Carmen.  Just hours after the pups were born, the family was brought to PAR.  Fox and her sweet pups are now safe thanks to caring bystanders.  Had they not been rescued, the cruel reality is that they most likely would have suffered a terrible death.  Please consider a donation to help with this family's food and vet costs.  

 

Thanks to your support, PAR is able to rescue abused and neglected dogs, provide proper care, and place them in forever homes.  Whoofs and wags!
