Upcoming Studio Gallery hours
It's summer break at Yourist Studio Gallery, and we will be closed during most of the month of August.
All students must pick up their bisque ware and finished glaze ware from the studio by August 3.
Intermediate and advanced students must also clear their shelves completely by August 3 so we can clean them during the break. Please remove everything from your shelf even if you plan to take an advanced or intermediate class in the fall.
Here are the summertime dates you should know about:
July 26: Summer classes end.
July 30: Last glaze and bisque firing for all student work.
August 2: The studio will be open until 6 pm for pickup of bisque and glaze ware and shelf cleanup only.
August 3: The studio will be open from 4 to 8 pm for pickup of bisque and glaze ware and shelf cleanup only.
August 4: Studio and Gallery close until September 2.
August 16-17: R NR workshop with Jeff Blandford. Contact RNR for more information and to register. August 28: Studio scrub down day. Lots of Fun! Music! Food! and Cleaning! We'll work from 12 noon to 4 pm, take a break for food and beverages supplied by the studio, then resume work from 5 to 8 pm. Studio members, please email Kay to sign up for a one or two hour shift. Kay will post a schedule at the studio. September 2: Studio and Gallery reopen and resume regular hours. September 10: Fall classes begin. Those who have joined the studio and become members are welcome to work in the studio in August. During the August 16-17 workshop with Jeff Blandford, however, the studio will be limited to workshop participants only. |

Yourist Studio Gallery offers rewarding clay classes for students of all levels of experience and interests.
Whether you're a beginner or an advanced student, you'll find a class in our fall schedule that's right for you.
Are you interested in giving clay a try? Wheel throwing? Hand building? Making clay beads and pendants for jewelry? Our classes have you covered.
We also have a class designed just for kids from ages 8 to 11 or so.
Our Advanced Wheel class with Melinda Mercer begins on September 10, followed by the rest of the classes in our fall lineup.
