Are you ready to see more fresh produce in the Kanawha Valley? These grants will support projects that combine innovation, collaboration and education with a mobile market to directly serve limited resource families in the 6 county region. Read on! 

Our three policies have the potential to put more local grown, healthy food on the plates of West Virginians and increase markets for many West Virginia farmers and value added food producers. The policies are: 1) Creating a Cottage Food Law, 2) A Local Food Sourcing Law for Public Institutions, and 3) A Tax Incentive for Food Producers for the cost of harvesting, storing, and transporting food donations.
