See what's new with DOD!

It's Hot Hula with Elsa Rivera this Saturday
4/11/15, 1-3 p.m.!

Elsa Rivera Hot Hula

Join Dance Out Diabetes and instructor Elsa Rivera for an exciting Hot Hula class this Saturday!

Hot Hula is a total body workout inspired by dances of the Pacific Islands. It incorporates easy to perform dance movements set to the sounds of traditional Polynesian drum beats fused with funky Reggae music, resulting in a modern fitness workout.

We'll be at the African American Art & Culture Complex located at 762 Fulton Street, San Francisco, CA 94102 (Muni access & free parking).

No need to register. Just show up! For $10, ($5 if you can't afford) you get a $277 value health screening.

Please arrive promptly at 1 p.m. for check-in (or 1:15 p.m. if you are not doing the health screening). Bring water, a snack if you need it, and comfortable shoes.

Grace's Message

Welcome Everyone!

As the weather is getting warmer, DOD is heating up! April brings thoughts of vacation, and what better way to start than with Elsa Rivera and HOT HULA. So let's get the hips swaying...

Thank You's To...

I'd like to thank Sanofi's Olivia and Ed for coming to our March Dance and supporting us in our efforts. They had many new items that may help us in keeping our diabetes under control.

Thanks to Jackie Wise for her energetic Zumba dancing and instruction.

Welcome Back...

Dr. Lonna Denny of the Spine Relief Center and Elaine Chan of 450 Sutter Pharmacy.  Thank you for the healthy snacks and refreshments.  Always a pleasure to have you join us.

Stay Well,

Grace
