See what's new with DOD!

It's Zumba Gold with Jackie Wise this Saturday
3/14/15, 1-3 p.m.!

Join Dance Out Diabetes and instructor Jackie Wise for an exciting Zumba Gold class this Saturday!

Zumba is a dance fitness program that combines Latin and international music with steps based on salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton and samba. The "Gold" part means it is an easier version of Zumba. Of course, Zumba is a blast and an easy way to burn calories while having fun!

We'll be at the African American Art & Culture Complex located at 762 Fulton Street, San Francisco, CA 94102 (Muni access & free parking).

No need to register. Just show up! For $10, ($5 if you can't afford) you get a $277 value health screening.

Please arrive promptly at 1 p.m. for check-in (or 1:15 p.m. if you are not doing the health screening). Bring water, a snack if you need it, and comfortable shoes.

Grace's Message

Welcome Everyone!

What an energy-filled February dance! Many thanks to Anita Lalwani from Fat Chance Belly Dance. From watching your reactions directly after, Anita's beautiful dancing inspired us all. Thanks again to all the participants and to our new and seasoned volunteers that attended.

Now on to March Madness...I'd like to welcome Jackie Wise, our Zumba Gold instructor. This is Jackie's first time with us, so let's all give her a warm welcome. I'd also like to send a big Thank you to Sanofi for sponsoring our March Dance. Welcome to you both and many heartfelt thanks.

So let's keep dancing for the health of it!

Erin Go Brah,

Grace
