Greetings!
July, the reason we live in Northern Wisconsin! The birds are singing, the river is moving swiftly, flags are flying, flowers baskets are full of beautiful trailing petunias, and people strolling downtown with friends and family.
We look forward to seeing you browsing through our specialty shops, sharing a meal at one of our many restaurants, or just enjoying the green spaces of our beautiful downtown. It is all right here: come on down and explore!

Message by DRI President
Mark Gutterer,
Rhinelander Cafe & Pub
It's July and we have been busy here at DRI. We just completed a very successful car show: please thank Melanie Ostermann for her hard work and dedication.
Our flower baskets look beautiful: remember to thank Ruth and Henning at Forth Floral for all they do. We continue to receive donations to support this program but could use a few more. Baskets are sponsored at $100. Forms are available at the DRI website or at the DRI office on Brown Street.
The Plaza Park and the Triangle have been weeded and mulched: thank you, DRI Design committee, led by Pat LaPorte.
Dan Kuzlik and his team are hard at work on plans for the second annual PotatoFest. We could use some more helpers in a number of different time slots. Contact Sally Latimer at DRI.
Economic restructuring is working out the details on a recruitment package: thank you, Ray Burgan, and your team.
And plans are well underway for a 2016 downtown streetscape renovation.
Am I forgetting anything? Let me know! With all that's going on, I'd better sign off and get back to work.
Your President, Mark Gutteter

Mainstreet with Maggie
One fantastic event down and more to come. The car show was a great success. Despite tricky weather we increased the number of
