We have a few reminders for you regarding 2013-14 Registration; Lost and Found; and The Importance of Knowing the Your Coach's Name...

2013-2-14 REGISTRATION:

Is actually open NOW!!! Please take a moment to email your parents through Shutterfly or simply remind them at the games this weekend, that they can register their returning players (and new players)!

LOST AND FOUND:

Please remind parents that all lost items returned to us are taken to the James Park Shed - Goals Room. The Lost and Found is open on Sundays at the same time that we are handing out and collecting goals.

TEAM NAME OR COACH'S NAME:

A parent walks into a goal room, a water bottle under one arm and a soccer ball under the other. "I'm here to get the goals for the Pink Butterflies game," he says.

The Equipment Guru on duty that day delivers a blank stare.

"You know, the Pink Butterflies, they play every Sunday."

Blank stare from the Guru.

The dad quickly check's his iPhone. "Oh, the coach's name is Jones, Bob Jones, U08G Team 25."

The Equipment Guru nods silently, and promptly hands over a set of goals and flags to the parent, and kindly thanks him for stopping by and for helping Coach Jones with the goals.

If your parents show up at the Goal Room and don't know the Coach's name, there's a good chance they won't get what they came for! Please remind your parents to come armed with the basics, so that we can promptly send them on their way!
