Hey Parents and Coaches:
Three weeks of soccer and three weeks of perfect weather! We hope that the season is going well for everyone so far!
The early reports are that Capri Sun is having a banner year thanks to our 2,000 kids who consume copious quantities of the tasty beverage post-game. I suspect there are some very happy orange farmers as well!
But what do we do with the empty pouches, orange peels, etc when the game is over? We take the time to dispose of them properly using the waste and recycling bins strategically located at each playing field!
Parents: If you have snack duty, you may want to pack an extra trash bag to collect everything in one tidy place before disposing of it on your way off the pitch!
Coaches: We all strive to leave the field in better shape than when we arrived. Please take a moment to do one last sweep and gather any remaining "stuff" before leaving.
Your care and attention to the state of the fields will inspire those who follow, and keep AYSO in the good graces of the Evanston Parks and Rec folks as well!
Best,
John Herzig Regional Commissioner Nick Long Assistant Regional Commissioner
