	Halloween Costumes Galore!! PGA Tour NDA and The PGA - A winning combination for four years! We are delighted to share with you that we are once again working with the Northern Trust Open and its Tickets-Fore-Charity program. From February 12-16, 2014, the best PGA golfers in the world will come to the beautiful and historic Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades to play in the Northern Trust Open. 80% of the profits from every ticket sold by NDA goes to NDA!! 20% of the profits from every ticket sold by NDA goes to The City of Hope. We encourage you to 'spread the word' to family, friends, neighbors and co-workers, from golf enthusiasts to those who enjoy seeing professional athletes up-close and personal. 	Sports Update

	We invite you to come cheer on our wonderful athletes! Tennis Congratulations to the tennis team for making the CIF playoffs in only their second season. NDA tennis finished 3rd in the Sunshine League and played against Chaparral HS in a CIF wildcard game on Tuesday, but lost a very close game. Leah Phillips made first team All-Sunshine League, Aleksandra Ruplenas made second team All-Sunshine League, and Madeleine Samuelian was named All-Sunshine League Honorable Mention. At the Sunshine League finals on Monday, Madeleine Combs and Madeleine Samuelian finished 5th in doubles, Alexia Cox and Alexa Indra finished 8th in doubles. Alexandra Ruplenas finished 5th in singles and Leah Phillips finished 7th in singles. Cross Country On Friday, October 25, 2013, the Girls' Cross Country Team participated in the Mt. SAC Invitational. Mt. SAC is considered the premier event of the season and boasts the largest and oldest invitational. Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams finished in 10th place out of 30 teams. Varsity cross country placed 4th in Sunshine League and JV cross country placed 3rd. At the Sunshine League finals meet on November 4, both Madison Evans and Anne Fitz made the All-Sunshine League Second team coming in 9th and 11th respectively. Congratulations to these ladies and the team on a great season. Volleyball Varsity volleyball is headed to the CIF playoffs. Game information will be available Friday afternoon. Varsity volleyball placed 3rd in the Sunshine League, and also came in 3rd at the Royal tournament and placed second in the silver division at the Redondo Beach Tournament. Meghan Truman was named to the All-Tournament team at Royal. Also, the JV volleyball team came in 2nd at the Valencia tournament. A special congratulations to Kristen Castellanos, who will sign a National Letter of Intent next week to play volleyball at LMU on a full athletic scholarship, and also to Meghan Truman who will play volleyball at Yale next season. Also, Gabby DeGuzman will walk-on to Cal Berkeley volleyball, and Malia Smith is going to Temple to play volleyball.

	#MockTrial - On November 4th, our students were terrific against Marymount. The attorneys' and witnesses' performances were very impressive! The judge complimented both teams and said that in his six years of judging mock trial, he had never seen two more evenly matched teams. Both teams displayed warmth and good sportsmanship, including hugs after the trial. The mock trial team goes on to the second round next week.
