Congratulations Academic Decathlon!

NDA's 2012/2013 Academic Decathlon Team!
NDA recently competed in Division III and Division IV of Academic Decathlon. Not only did our teams do well in all categories, but our young ladies won 38 individual medals across the ten subjects. The Division IV team won 2nd place in the Super Quiz and 2nd place overall. The Division III team won 3rd place overall.

German Exchange Student

For part of the 2013 - 2014 school year, our sister school in Vechta, Germany will be sending two students who want to learn about life in the United States.
These young ladies will arrive in early August and return home by the first of December. We are happy to welcome Msgr. Sal Pilato, Archdiocesan Superintendent of Secondary Schools, who will be celebrating our Ash Wednesday Liturgy.
Congratulations to the cast of the spring production, "Legally Blonde." We cannot wait to see your premiere performance on April 19, 2013 and to meet the star of the show Bruiser. We are rolling out the pink carpet for our guests.

We invite you to come cheer on our wonderful athletes during our winter sports season.

Softball, Swim and Track began on Monday, January 7th. Please click the link above to see the schedules.
SOCCER Varsity soccer is currently tied for 3rd place in the Sunshine League with two games left in the schedule. Despite injuries, the players managed to put together a very impressive campaign, highlighted by wins against Marlborough (2-0 at MB and 1-0 away). The current team record is 9-5-5.
The girls are working very hard in preparation for these final two games and are confident they will clinch a play-off spot for the 8th consecutive season. BASKETBALL As of this week's end, the Varsity and JV basketball teams are in second place. They have remaining games against Immaculate Heart and Ramona Convent. With victories over these two schools, the Varsity team will be guaranteed a second seed spot in the playoffs. 
NDA Parents/Guardians, come be a part of the Regal Gryphon SPIRIT (Supporting Proud Individuals Representing Integrity and Teamwork) program to assist athletics. Our members are actively involved with their respective sports teams as team parent(s), scorekeepers, meal coordinators, and announcers.
