We invite you to come cheer on our wonderful athletes during our winter sports season.

Visit our website to view the current athletic schedule. NDA AthleticsOur Winter Sports Rally will be on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. We can't wait to cheer on our Regal Gryphons.SOCCER The season is going very well. Both Varsity and Junior Varsity are very young and inexperienced but talented teams and are quickly learning the nuances of each others' skills. The girls are currently 7-4-2 with impressive wins, among others, against Lancaster (1-0), Cal Whittier (1-0) and South Pasadena (3-1). League starts Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Marlborough. NDA girls will try to capture the 5th League title of the last 7 years and try to make playoffs for the 8th straight season. BASKETBALL The Varsity and Junior Varsity Basketball teams were busy during Christmas break with each team playing in two tournaments. With victories over Brentwood, Paraclete, Crossroads and a lone loss to St. Monica's, Varsity took second place in the St. Monica Holiday Classic. Senior Kaylee Hage was selected to the All-Tournament Team. After Christmas, Varsity continued at the grueling pace of five games in five days at the West Coast Holiday Classic, featuring some of the best teams in the state. Our team played well with victories over Van Nuys and Hawthorne and narrow losses to Burroughs, Legacy (NV) and Inglewood earning 10th place overall. The Junior Varsity Team played in three tournaments: Long Beach Millikan, Downey and Beverly Hills. Katherine Irajpanah had the hot hand for the Regal Gryphons. Her skills and those of her teammates helped lead to impressive victories over Cleveland, Brea, St. Mary's Academy, LA Jordan and Torres. NDA Parents/Guardians, come be a part of the Regal Gryphon SPIRIT (Supporting Proud Individuals Representing Integrity and Teamwork) program to assist athletics.
