2 Timothy 1:3
Rev. Harbison
Let us remember the greatest act of support we can give to anyone is to pray for them. Prayer is such a simple thing, it costs us nothing, takes very little time and the only effort given is to take a moment to take reflect on that person's life and give thanksgiving to God for how they've touched your life. See how easy that is? Just a few moments each and every day makes such a difference in our lives and in the lives of those for whom we are praying. Let us joyously pray for all we love and all who need it and give and get the greatest gift of all.

One final word . . . a friend of mine once told me that when you are really mad at someone , pray for them. Don't get mad, but continually pray for them. I promise, you won't stay mad for long. What a great way to transform the lives of two people.

Love,

Our Youth are off to Conclaves this weekend!

Conclaves 2016
Several members of St. Luke's youth group are off to our Presbytery's Conclaves event this weekend at Camp Cho-Yeh in Livingston, Texas. Cassie, Dorothea, Catherine, Ellis and Lilly will have opportunities to grow closer to God, and connect with other young people from all over our presbytery.  Their weekend will consist of  dynamic worship, Bible study and small groups, a mission project and of course they will have fun playing games and making new friends. Be sure and ask them about their Conclave experience!

If so, you can use the sign-up sheets in the Sunday bulletin or print a sign up sheet, fill it out and mail it to the church. If you write a check, please note "Easter Lilies" on the memo line. The plants are $10 each and you are welcome to take your plant home after Easter Sunday service.
