Souper Bowl of Caring

It's time to start thinking about Souper Bowl of Caring 2016, which runs from January 18-February 7. Souper Bowl of Caring uses the excitement of the Super Bowl to encourage benevolence among our community's youth. Each participating group donates 100% of the cash or food donations to the organization of their choice. Jeanne Leach will be heading up St. Luke's Souper Bowl of Caring. Watch for more information coming soon.

A Closing Prayer

Angels sang their anthems at the midnight hour to awaken a sleeping creation;
shepherds came to worship you, and went away rejoicing;
wise ones gave their hearts to you, so they could dwell in yours.
O Immanuel, we adore you!
You came to us as a baby to hold us in your grace;
you came to us in a stable so we would have no trouble finding you;
you came to us in poverty to enrich our lives.
O Beautiful Messenger of Peace, we adore you!
You build your home deep within our souls;
O wisdom from on high, we adore you!                       from Cradled in God's Heart by Thom Shuman
