Homes for the Brave (ABRI) update

Support for Homes for the Brave continues to grow throughout our state. In the January collection of paper goods, cleaning supplies, toiletries and birthday cards, members donated over $2,300 worth of items and $385 in gift certificates. The residents were most appreciative when we delivered the donation.

In their December newsletter, one of the veterans, speaking for all, stated:
"I was prepared to fight, be wounded, be captured, even die.  But I was not prepared to be homeless, hungry and abandoned."

Coffee items (unflavored regular ground coffee, sugar and unflavored coffee creamer) are being collected at the GFWC/CT March 16 meeting. Thank you for your ongoing support. It is valued and appreciated.
Questions about the GFWC/CT Web site ?

On Saturday, March 16th, Kelly Leach will be holding a brief seminar at the Board meeting to roll out the redesigned Web site for GFWC/CT.

She would like to know if there are any specific questions you would like answered at that time - related to Web site, downloads, PDFs - or anything else.

We want everyone to be able to take advantage of the information available on our site, so please feel free to email any questions to jkleach@snet.net by 3/13/13 and she will do her best to answer them at the meeting.

See you there!

Please forward this e-newsletter to your club members.
