JoAnn Calnen and Nancy Kalyan, May 18, 2012
Hi Everyone!
The touch has indeed been passed and I look forward to being your new State President! We had a great time that evening with Carlene Garner International President installing me that Friday night at our May Convention. To all that attended and came to the fabulous reception given by The Evening Committee of The Woman's Club of Enfield that night "Thank You" for your support. I look forward to seeing all of you at our future meetings.
In this first Constant Contact we are showing a merging of our two administrations. I feel that a new administration should always recognize the prior for all of the accomplishments and successes that they achieved.
Therefore, in this article you will see all of the awards that our clubs received at May Convention. The State awards that we received at the International Convention in Charlotte. The acknowledgement of a newly established first time "Charlotte Emerson" award given by GFWC International - for Leadership to JoAnn Calnen.
We have also included a pdf list of all winners for the High School Arts Contest that took place at Goodwin College.
For our next Constant Contact, we are asking that all Clubs please submit any events coming up or past events that took place during the summer or any pictures that you might have of a club event. Please submit them to Kelly Leach at adobemoes@yahoo.com.
Yours in Federation,
Nancy
