BASIS International Ltd releases BBj�, the Barista� Application Framework, and AddonSoftware� by Barista version 16.10 that includes the ALL NEW enhanced Payroll building block module for AddonSoftware. This maintenance release also incorporates all customer requested fixes listed in the Fixes file and incorporates new 17.0 preview features listed below.

AddonSoftware continues its 30+ year history of constant improvement with the addition of the graphical Payroll module - additional features, increased functionality, and updated technology.

	NEW Payroll Module
	The all new graphical Payroll module joins AddonSoftware's Accounting, Distribution, and Manufacturing bundles. HERE is a detailed introduction to the payroll features.

W2 filing via IRS/SSA - AccuWage E-Filing
IRS Small Business form printing - 940/941/943/944 quarterly/annual employment tax forms

NEW BBj 17.0 Preview Features in this release
Click here for the full list of 17.0 preview features Database Management Linked Databases - Adds the ability to configure a named, linked database that points to any 3rd party JDBC database. Tables from a linked database can be used just like any table in a BBj database and can be referenced from any BBj SQL statement using NAME_OF_DB.TABLE_NAME notation.

Feature Improvements

Added the ability to add grids on tabs
Implemented the interface to application level license check feature
Enhanced the query design tool to work with certain callpoints to allow programmatic control of (for example) query window title, filter and search definitions, and right-click menu options
Reports presented through the Jasperviewer are automatically zoomed for better readability
New utility to manually export table definitions with Full Text Indexes for use during upgrades
