Together with a pilot customer, one of the largest logging companies in Austria, BASIS customer DAM-EDV developed a smartphone delivery note app for drivers to use whenever they transport a load of logs from the forest to a sawmill. 
"We completed the web-based solution with BBj� in about 80 man-hours
...and the app was our first BBj project!" 
A slow paperwork-heavy process was profoundly changed by the new browser-user-interface BBj app running on a smartphone. The delivery driver fills out a form, takes a few pictures of his cargo with the same phone and transmits. Since most everyone has a smartphone the hardware deployment was practically free.
