What is The Big Give S.A.?

The Big Give S.A. is a 24-hour online competitive giving event that will take place from midnight to midnight on May 5, 2015. All donations on May 5th give your favorite nonprofit the opportunity to earn matching funds and prize incentives. While this event benefits San Antonio organizations, you do not need to be from San Antonio to participate. 

 

Why is the Alamo Participating?

The Alamo depends primarily on gift shop sales and donations for operating funds.  Last year we raised about $2,200 through the Big Give SA to fund audio/visual equipment for our education department.  This year, our goal is to raise $5,000 for living history programs like First Saturday, Fall at the Alamo and our March 6th commemoration event.  

 

How can you help The Alamo?
