Greetings!
Happy fall from Nubi! Come celebrate and learn about our local food growing and preparing. Below are the details on our upcoming harvest celebration and butchering workshop.
These are great opportunities to have fun, learn, and get to know our cohousing community. We hope you can join us!

On Oct 15 from 12:30 - 3:00 please join our CSA's (Community Supported Agriculture) Harvest Celebration. We'll press apple cider, sample homemade brotworst and taste our maple-porter homebrew. Come meet Todd, our famer, and hear about plans for next year's CSA. Bring a dish to share and an appetite. Salads, desserts, prepared foods, etc. all encouraged. Our model home will also be open and tours of the community available. RSVP to Richard.
On Oct 22 and 23rd as part of National Food Day, we are hosting a butchering workshop. Cole Ward, artisan butcher from Vermont, will lead the workshop. On Saturday, we will be cutting our pasture raised pigs and lambs from our fellow farmers at Sunnyfield Farm. On Sunday morning we'll learn how to make sausages. You are welcome to join us as either as a participant or observer; $50/session or $20/session to audit. Please contact Barbara for information and reservations. Co-sponsored by the Peterborough Grange. Home tours will also be available by appointment.
