Greetings!
Happy first day of spring! While we are expecting snow today, mother nature, with the help of nu bi kids (see photo to right) has been busy melting our snow away. Maple syruping has kept most of the community outside while inside the CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) members are tending the sprouts to be transplanted outside. Included in this newsletter are reports on the last Craft Day and maple syruping, information about this weekend's Seed Room celebration, a profile of our oldest neighbor and a home for sale, and upcoming open houses.
Come visit and see why we love living here. We have a few homes left for sale and rent.

 | Craft Day |
| | Working together at the loom. |
A wonderful time was had by all at our February Craft Day where residents shared their skills and love of professions and hobbies. "I loved everything, I got to weave, do pottery, bake bread and decorate cupcakes. There was painting too!" said Catherine, 12. For more photos click here. |
 | Maple Syrup |
| | The first tap of spring! |
It is sap boiling time. We share the daily duty of collecting the sap on our land (good after school activity). By the weekend we are ready to boil. It is a great excuse to gather 'round the fire and catch up with neighbors. We bake potatoes in the coals, and just enjoy whoever shows up to chat and play. It is extra fun to drink the sweet sap right out of the tree! |
 | Neighbor Profile: Pamela |
| | Pamela out for her daily walk |
Pamela is our oldest neighbor. Even at the age 84 she attends every neighborhood event, lending a quiet presence, helping any way she can. She lives with her son, Clive, in an apartment in one of the "quads." After her morning walk (even on the cold days!), she will often spend the mornings taking in the view from her son's 2nd floor office.
Pamela was born in 1927 in South Africa and lived there for 50 years. She has also lived in England and France. She moved to the United States from Paris in 1980 with her 2nd husband. She has lived in Rhode Island, Florida and since April 2009, Nubanusit! What follows is a synopsis of our discussion.
