Georgia BikeFest 2014
 BRAG's next ride is the 23rd annual Georgia BikeFest in Columbus, GA, October 10-12, 2014. Just think, 3 days of autumn fully-supported cycling and 3 nights of camping next to the Chattahoochee River. Café Campesino will be back to jumpstart your mornings with their special BRAG brew. A shower trailer will also be available beginning Friday, October 10, at noon. Various mileage options are available each day along with a fully-supported Century Ride on Saturday, October 11. Friday, 10/10: The Lake Oliver Ride, 49 miles, or 36, or 10 miles. Saturday, 10/11: The Tour de Muscogee and Harris Century Ride, 100 miles, or 60, 41, or 22 miles. Sunday, 10/12: The Welcome Home Hooah Ride to Ft. Benning, 41 miles, 27, or 16 miles.

Uptown Columbus is planning an exciting weekend for BRAG riders. Happy Hour both Friday and Saturday, 4:00pm - 6:00pm, at Picasso Pizza in Uptown Columbus, 1020 Broadway, $1 off all drinks. Friday evening in Uptown Columbus on Broadway, Deeper Shades of Soul Band, will be playing from 7:00pm - 10:00pm. Back at camp, you can make S'mores around the campfire. Saturday is full of activities, including Market Days on Broadway, from 9am to Noon, and the Uptown Drum Circle on Broadway Saturday evening starting at 6pm. No drum? No problem! Drums will be on site for you to borrow for the evening. While in Columbus you can try your skills on the new zip line featuring a 1200 ft. zip across the Chattahoochee River or raft down the World's Longest Urban Whitewater Course! Show your BRAG wristband to receive a 20% discount. Get your registration in now before September 26 to avoid the late fee. WinterRide 2015
BRAG's sixth annual WinterRide will start in beautiful St. Marys, Georgia. The dates are Tuesday, February 17, 2015, through Sunday, February 22, 2015. The average high temperature that week in St. Marys is 65ºF. St. Marys is 350 miles from Atlanta and takes about 6 hours to drive. Mark your calendar now to attend and take a breather from the cold weather.Registration information will be available shortly after Georgia BikeFest.

BRAG Riders Can Kick Cancer in the Booty
 24 Hours of Booty of Atlanta will hold its fifth annual event in Sandy Springs on Saturday, Oct. 4 to Sunday, Oct. 5. Ride as much (100 miles or all 24 hours) or as little (10 miles or just one hour) as you want. It is a great event for families and beginners. The fully-secured Booty Loop is closed to traffic and winds 2.6 miles through Sandy Springs and the Mount Vernon Woods neighborhood. 24 Hours of Booty supports the Aflac Cancer Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and LIVE STRONG Foundation. Take advantage of a special BOGO registration offer! If the Atlanta Falcons beat the Minnesota Vikings on September 28, you win too.
