All the towns are looking forward to BRAG's visit and are busy making plans. There will be Happy Hour in Tifton at the overnight site from 4pm-6pm. The city pool will be open in Douglas on Tuesday and Wednesday. The indoor pool at South Georgia State College will be open for riders on Wednesday afternoon. Happy Hour will be at El Potro Mexican Restaurant in Douglas both Tuesday and Wednesday from 4pm - 6pm.  After a long day of riding from Douglas to Waycross, enjoy Happy Hour again from 4pm - 6pm at Cavagnaros Restaurant 1 mile from our overnight site, Ware County High School. Once you arrive in Brunswick, you can enjoy a game of bowling across the street from the college or indulge in Happy Hour again from 4pm - 6pm at the Dawg House, .5 mile from the college. You will end your ride in St. Marys, GA, along the waterfront. Enjoy your End of the Road Meal at the park as you listen to the U.S. Navy band.

We will see you on Sunday, June 2, in Cordele, GA, at the beginning of BRAG!

Team BRAG is going to RAGBRAI. We'll leave Lilburn, GA on Friday morning, July 19, and drive to near Ft. Madison, IA and stay in a hotel, double occupancy. On Saturday, July 20, we will take a bus to the start. We will pedal Sunday, July 21 - Saturday, July 27. We will start home on Saturday afternoon, July 27, and stay in a hotel half-way home. We will arrive back in Lilburn on Sunday afternoon, July 28.

The Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure Spring Ride, March 15-23, 2013, is a week-long, 400-mile ride down the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway, one of America's ten best biking roads. But it's more than just a bike ride. Riders will raise awareness and funds for the Fuller Center for Housing's mission, to provide adequate shelter for all people in need worldwide, and participate in the work first hand, volunteering one day on a Fuller Center build project. From Spook Hill to Thrill Hill, Bike Florida's 2013 Orange Blossom Express spring tour will delight and excite cyclists looking to experience a part of Florida rich in history. The route follows Central Florida's iconic orange groves and is peppered with elevation changes not typically associated with the Sunshine State. The Ride of Love, Saturday, May 18, leaves Tuscaloosa, AL with an impressive escort provided by the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Department. The ride travels 150 miles to the shores of Lake Martin in Alexander City, AL. It is a long day of 10-12 hours of pedaling...always remembering the pain and suffering of the children you are riding for. Upon arrival at Camp Smile-a-Mile, you will be welcomed by the screams and cheers of the children and families affected by cancer who are there for the first Family Weekend of the year. Pedaling into Camp with the Sheriff's escort sirens blaring is an experience you will never forget and has seen many a grown man cry! For more information visit www.campsam.org/rideoflove.asp.

The Atlanta 2-Day Breast Cancer Walk is looking for volunteers to help with the Bike "Bra-gade" - the bicycle crew that supports and assists walkers along the route. The event is October 5 - 6, 2013.

The bike crew members ride back and forth along the Walk route making sure Walkers are safe, calling for sweep vans to pick up injured Walkers, and tracking the lead Walkers and the tail end for the coordinators. Bicyclists will ride about 35-45 miles on Saturday, and 15-20 miles on Sunday. Bicyclists don't have to raise money, but there is a registration fee of $150 to cover expenses.The registration covers all meals, plus one overnight stay at the Marriott Marquis in downtown Atlanta.
