BRAG 2013 Route is Confirmed
The BRAG staff has been working diligently to confirm the 2013 route, and we have achieved our goal. The dates for the week-long ride are June 2 - 8, 2013. We will gather for registration on Sunday, June 2, in Cordele. Our first day of riding will be Monday, June 3, when we head to Tifton. The remaining overnight towns are Douglas (layover day), Waycross, Brunswick, and ending in St. Marys.

Listed below are the dates, towns, and overnight sites. Plan now to ride with us in 2013. Register before December 31, 2012, to save on an increase in the registration fee. You can download a paper registration or register at Pre-race.com with a credit card - VISA/MC/Discover. There will definitely be an increase in the registration fees beginning January 1, 2013, so register now. No, we do not know how much the increase will be at this time. Motel List is now available here. Updated BRAG 2013 ride information will be available at www.brag.org after the first of the year. |

BRAG WinterRide (Ride/Hike/Boat Adventure)
February 26 - March 3, 2013
 BRAG's fourth annual WinterRide will start in beautiful St. Marys, Georgia. The dates are Tuesday, February 26, 2013, through Sunday, March 3, 2013. The average high temperature that week in St. Marys is 65ºF. St. Marys is 350 miles from Atlanta and takes about 6 hours to drive. This is a great late-Wintertime escape, a relaxed multisport event suitable for all levels of bicycling. Non-riders are welcomed also.
 You will have the opportunity of cycling in St. Marys one day, take a ferry to Cumberland Island for hiking or cycling, take a ferry along with your bicycle to Fernandina Beach for a day of cycling, and end your trip with a guided kayak or canoe ride on the Okefenokee Swamp.

Upcoming 2013 BRAG Events - Mark Your Calendars Now
The 20th annual Spring Tune-Up Ride will again be held in Madison, GA, April 5 - 7, 2013. Tent camping will be at Heritage Park again. Plan to ride with us after the long winter break.
The 34th annual Bicycle Ride Across Georgia will be June 2 - 8, 2013.
The 22nd annual Georgia BikeFest will again be held in Columbus, GA, October 11 - 13, 2013.

Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure Spring Ride  The Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure Spring Ride, March 15 - 23, 2013, is a week-long, 400-mile ride down the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway, one of America's ten best biking roads. But it's more than just a bike ride. Riders will raise awareness and funds for the Fuller Center for Housing's mission, to provide adequate shelter for all people in need worldwide, and participate in the work first hand, volunteering one day on a Fuller Center build project. Frankie's Ride to the Border
 The Southern Bicycle League's 2nd annual Frankie's Ride to the Border and Social will be on Saturday, March 23, 2013. It will start and end in Rockmart, GA. The ride is to the Alabama state line and back along the Silver Comet Trail, 48 miles round trip, with shorter options available. More details later, but mark your calendar now. This is a great way to kick off the 2013 Spring cycling season.
