Membership Drive Wrapping Up
Hello all, I just wanted to let you know it is not too late to recruit all of your friends and family to join the Chamber. The membership drive ends February 28th. Members being brought in during the membership drive do not have to pay the $30 processing fee, so there is the ultimate motivator to get folks to act now or at least by Friday.
Allow me to convey a few reasons why I have remained a Chamber member for 18 years. The Chamber keeps me connected to what is going on in the North Clackamas area. I have formed many lasting friendships and relationships with my Chamber involvement. I often find that I know someone that a prospect or new acquaintance knows which makes for a warmer initial meeting/conversation. The Chamber is watching my back, and yours, in regard to onerous legislation/regulation and taxation. The Chamber also provides me many opportunities to meet people who may have a need for my products and/or services.
I give you permission to use any of the above in your approach toward new members. Therefore, you should be armed and ready, go get 'em and bring them in by Friday. Thank you all for your consideration and participation.

Two "FREE-NO OBLIGATION" Long Term Care seminars for your convenience
It's never too early to plan for retirement. That's why working hard now to ensure financial security in retirement is so important. Unfortunately, the financial security we work so hard for could be at serious risk if the need for long term care arises. Americans are living longer, and that's causing an increased need for skilled home health care and nursing home services - services that are typically not covered by health insurance or Medicare. And with long term care costs on the rise, having a plan to pay for these services is more important than ever. Jim Schaub with COUNTRY Financial will be presenting a seminar focused on information and available resources to provide you with a better understanding of the issues related to Long Term Care. These include financial, physical and mental risks to you and family members that are potential caregivers. Ultimately, making informed decisions related to your unique situation should complement your overall financial security plan. The seminar will be offered at two convenient times. There is limited seating so call 503.679.5685 or email Jim Schaub to register or for more information. Flyer
