Public invited to comment online on proposed Clackamas County transportation project priorities through June 15
The public is invited to participate in an online open house to review and comment on proposed transportation project priorities for the next 20 years in unincorporated Clackamas County.
After more than a year of work on the Clackamas County Transportation System Plan (TSP) update, County residents, the TSP Public Advisory Committee and transportation experts identified more than 300 projects for roads, bridges, sidewalks and bikeways that will be needed by 2035 throughout unincorporated Clackamas County.
Since funds will only be available for a small proportion of these projects, each project was evaluated and ranked based on vision, goals, objectives and evaluation criteria set last year by the Public Advisory Committee.

TriMet News Feed: Fact check on TriMet salary and fare price news story
TriMet welcomes public and media attention regarding all matters related to TriMet. Being transparent helps the public understand the direction and priorities of the agency. As they move a small city every day - providing some 308,000 rides - they understand how critical their service is to the community. At the same time, some of the statements made by the media and public can contain inaccurate information about TriMet. They will "fact check" any communication that misstates the facts. More
After freezing non-union wages for 3-1/2 years, TriMet increased non-union wages last July by an average of 3 percent. While the increase totaled just $910,000, less than 1 percent of the $473 million operating budget, the lack of full transparency in announcing the increase became the much of the focus of public backlash. As some media and riders continue to raise the issue, TriMet General Manager Neil McFarlane sets the record straight. More
