President's Message
David A. Kelly, President & CEO
Spring into change
The Final Four is over. Baseball season has started. Flowers are in bloom. Leaves are emerging. The Masters' is on TV this weekend. It must really be spring.
The changing seasons have me thinking about change in general. Sometimes change is hard and painful to go through. Sometimes it presents you with an opportunity. As the Chamber prepares to transition into a new fiscal year with a new Board Chair, new Executive Board, five new Board members, and a CEO still in his first year in the community, opportunity abounds for the Chamber to serve you better. With our Strategic Planning Retreat scheduled for April 23rd, there is no better time than now to make your voice heard. Please let me know of any changes you would like to see your Chamber make.

Congressman Schrader will address fiscal reform and other business issues and give his perspective of what is happening on Capitol Hill. In addition to discussing a variety of issues that affect business, he will also take questions from the floor regarding our local concerns. Business has faced challenging times in the past several years, and small business seems to be taking the brunt of the economic hits. Hear what Congress is doing to help the business economy.
