Principal's Note

Dear Lincoln Families:

The holiday season will be in full force once we return. The Winter Concert given by our 4th & 5th graders, under the direction of Mrs. Prater and Mr. Simon, is Wednesday, December 2nd, at 7:00 pm in the BIS Auditorium. Some joyful music has been heard everywhere on the Lincoln campus as our talented musicians rehearse for their big night.

I am so proud of our music program at Lincoln. Although the concerts are a wonderful experience, they are not the heart and soul of the program. Developing student musicians who have a deep love of music and growing skill in making it themselves is the goal of our passionate music teachers. I hope you will join the full Lincoln team as we usher in the holiday season with the joyous music our students make together.

The full Lincoln team wants every student and family to know how thankful we are that you are a part of our lives. Our students bring such joy and hope into our lives every day. Their enthusiasm keeps all of us young. The commitment that each of you has to all of our students as well as the energy you bring to Lincoln buoys all of us. Please know how grateful we are to be a part of the Lincoln family.

As you gather with family and friends to give thanks this week, know we have added each of you to our list of people we are thankful for. Lincoln is such a special community, a mosaic of personalities and special gifts. I am grateful for this moment to pause and reflect on how my life has been enriched by being here. Our hope is that this Thanksgiving is filled with love, laughter, and community for all of you.

Sincerely,
Pat
