The Podcar City & Advance Transit conference in Antwerp is next month (September 19 - 21). ATRA and ATRA IG will hold a combined strategic planning meeting in conjunction with the Podcar City conference - starting right after the final session at 5:30 PM on the 21st. The meeting will culminate with dinner at 7:30 at a local restaurant. If you are a member of either group, please plan to attend. As always, enjoy reading!

Cable cars: A band-aid solution?
IN an interview with ANC's "Headstart" on June 28, Secretary of Transport Arthur Tugade announced that they are looking into building cable cars in Metro Manila as a potential solution to the traffic. While they are "still looking into it," he further said that he had "started talking with the manufacturer of cable cars" that supplied the same to Bolivia or Bogota.
