Dear Friends,
Merry Christmas. As 2012 comes to a close and the USA is facing what many are calling the "Fiscal Cliff," one of the options for dealing with the financial problems that we face is to change or eliminate the charitable giving deductions. Some consider it a loophole, but those of us in the non-profit sector consider it a lifeline.
While many will continue to support charities, regardless of tax deductions, if such a deduction is taken away, many will not be able to afford to continue that giving. Although we know that God is faithful and we trust Him for His continued provision, we do live in a country that allows us to make our voice heard by those He has placed over us in leadership.
We would urge you to pray with us about this situation and to consider what else you might do. Please view this video below to see more about the possibilities, and if you are so inclined, consider contacting the White House, your Senator or Representative today to urge them to maintain this vital lifeline.

May the Lord bless and keep you in His perfect. . .
