Dear Friends,
Thanks for your faithful prayers for our Advocates around the globe. We received word today from South Africa from our dear sister Teresa Conradie concerning an alarming situation in North Africa.
"Our contact in Morocco, Dawid, (some of you might remember him from the 2008 convocation) and his wife Annemarie were evicted from the country by the authorities with 72 hours' notice last week. They are South Africans who have been staying there for 12 years and have been doing amazing work, amongst others running a centre for the mentally disabled. You can imagine the trauma they are experiencing having to pack up their house within a day after they brought up their children there, completely became part of the community and return to South Africa without being able to even greet most of the people they got to know. They were not even allowed to tell the people at the centre that they are leaving.
The fear is that this is the first of a new wave of evictions of Christians to take place in that country. I am seeing Dawid and Annemarie later this morning and will report back if there are specific prayer requests."
Please remember Dawid, Annemarie and their children as they deal with all they have been through and adapt to this new situation they find themselves in. Pray too for the Christians left in Morocco, and for an end to these evictions.
Thanks again for your continued prayers for Advocates International and for all of the advocates who are representing persecuted Christians around the globe.
May the Lord bless and keep you in His perfect. . .
Grace and Peace,
 Brent McBurney
